45. Among other lessons, 44 taught me to be more resilient, to go inward for healing, to breathe more. That life is better when I take more chances. I bought a beach house in Costa Rica and started to orient part of my year there; moved out of Denver after 13 years; lost my beloved Jasper; finished a grad school program; took an epic hike to an active volcano in Iceland; made some new friends, deepened relationships with others and saw a few friendships fade away; and suffered some setbacks I wasn’t expecting.
